This is just my humble online space for essaying on all manner of things relating to music. 13 years after writing my first gig review, no matter how hard I try, I can't get out of the habit of writing about music - words invade me whenever my ears are enlivened. Also, I like to document things and keep track of what I've been attending or giving headspace to.

It might end up being completely self indulgent and pleasurable only to me, but I'm not really doing this to get cred or to please any audience. I see this as being a really varied and different kind of blog though, as it's not just straight-forward reviewing and the format changes, plus the subject matter sways quite widely.

Mixture of Public, Friends Only and Private entries here. You can add me as a friend if you have a journal and want all my entries to appear on your Friends page. If you do not have a Livejournal, you can still read my blogs as they are largely viewable to the public.

Do you make music or create fanzines or something similar that I might like to review? You can contact me at:

Please contact me before quoting my reviews, thanks.
